Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is preparing for a new census.
According to Arab media reports, preparations are being made for a census in the country. Next year, there will be a census in the whole country.
The Saudi Department of Statistics says the census will begin in May 2022.
In this regard, all ministries, departments, government agencies and chambers of commerce and industry have been directed to cooperate with the Statistics Department till the completion of the census.
The Department of Statistics will also coordinate with the Saudi Data and Artificial Authority.
It is expected that modern resources and technology will be used in the census in Saudi Arabia, the relevant agencies have almost completed the preparations in this regard.
