Pregnant Cardi B Wows in Sheer Cutout Gown for 33rd Birthday

Pregnant superstar Cardi B truly knows how to celebrate in style. The music icon marked her 33rd birthday with a dazzling, floor-length sheer dress that grabbed everyone’s attention.

The "Money" rapper gave fans a peek into her celebrations, sharing a series of six stunning photos on Instagram on Sunday, October 12. This was just a day after her actual birthday. In the pictures, she modeled a beautiful crimson gown with cuts that perfectly highlighted her growing baby bump.

Cardi B is a busy mom, raising her three children with ex-husband Offset: Kulture, 7; Wave, 4; and Blossom, 13 months. Now, she’s expecting her fourth child, this time with NFL star Stefon Diggs. She took time in her Instagram caption to reflect on her special day.

"Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!" she wrote. "Normally everyone makes their New Year’s resolutions on January 1st, but I made mine last night. I feel lucky, but most of all blessed. My year 32 was a year I will never forget!"

The photos showed Cardi posing in front of a pink balloon wall. A neon sign wishing her "Happy Birthday" glowed, surrounded by lovely flower bouquets. Another shot captured her holding her stomach at the bottom of a staircase. She also shared a selfie taken while relaxing in a comfy white armchair. Her long, straight dark hair flowed around her, and her look was complete with chunky silver bracelets and rings.

Her Instagram message also touched on her hopes for the year ahead. "33 is the year of Jesus," she added, "and I must say I never felt so protected and cared for by the man above. He never stops reminding me that I am chosen and anointed, and that is the best gift I could ask for. Thank you all for supporting and loving me. I love you too." Her pregnancy had been announced during a CBS Mornings interview last month.

Cardi’s birthday celebration comes at a time when her personal life has been in the spotlight. Just days before her post, her ex-husband, Offset, 33, openly discussed their marriage. He shared his regrets with Keke Palmer on her "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" podcast, which aired on Tuesday, October 7. Cardi had filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, after six years of marriage, and the process is still ongoing.

"I should have respected her much more," Offset said during the interview. "I made bad decisions, like being unfaithful to her. I have to own it. When she left, I had to own it… We have so much, our children, to live for. I was being selfish and I can say that as a man."

Cardi also spoke about their split. She appeared on the "On Purpose" podcast on Monday, October 6, a day before Offset’s comments went public. "I felt like the love was dying on my side — on my side, on his," she shared in the episode. "I felt very lonely because I chose to be alone." She welcomed her youngest child with Offset, Blossom, two months after filing for their divorce.

Meanwhile, Cardi and Stefon Diggs were first linked in July 2024. E! News reported that they were seen at a club together. At that time, Cardi denied they were dating. Nearly a year later, in June, she and Diggs, who plays for the New England Patriots, officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

Cardi recently opened up about her new romance. In a September interview with Billboard, she explained the challenges of keeping a new public relationship private. "It is what it is," she said. "Dating in your 30s is also hard, but I like him. I love him today."
