Prateik Babbar, the talented Bollywood actor and son of late actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, recently opened up about his struggles with addiction. In a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Prateik shared the dark phase of his life when he was heavily into substance abuse, which not only affected his personal life but also impacted his professional career.

Prateik’s grandmother, Nadira Babbar, witnessed his worst during those years. He revealed that she passed away while he was still struggling with addiction, and he deeply regrets that she didn’t get to see the person he has become today. This experience has left a lasting impact on Prateik.

The actor’s journey into addiction began during his time at Whistling Woods, where he was studying. However, his substance abuse led to him being expelled from the institution. Prateik humorously recalled that he was kicked out of every school and college he attended, becoming a concern for those around him.

A New Chapter

Prateik has since turned his life around and is now focusing on his career. He was recently seen in Nani’s film ‘HIT: The Third Case’, and he’s also part of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’. With his new projects, Prateik is slowly rebuilding his reputation in the industry.
