Prateik Babbar, son of actor Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, recently opened up about his life and family relationships. He explained why he didn’t invite his father, stepmother, or half-siblings to his second wedding in February 2025.
In an interview with Times Now, Prateik shared that the past issues between his mother and stepmother made it difficult for him to invite them to his wedding. He said there were problems between them 38-40 years ago, and inviting his father’s family to his mother’s home would have been inappropriate.
Prateik also mentioned that he had planned to do something special for his father’s family after his wedding, but it didn’t work out. His decision to exclude them from the wedding was met with criticism from his half-siblings.
