Portuguese club Vizela concluded its international break friendlies with a 1-1 draw against Olympique Marseille’s reserve team on Friday, following an earlier 3-0 victory against Varzim.
The training match against the French club’s B team was played at Vizela’s home stadium. Midfielder Busnic scored the lone goal for the Portuguese side in the equal contest.
This fixture was Vizela’s second friendly during the competitive hiatus for international matches. On Thursday, Vizela defeated Varzim, a third-tier Portuguese team, by a score of 3-0.
Goals in that match came from Manu Garrido, Pedro Ramos, and an own goal. Ricardo Sousa manages the Vizela squad.
The Vizela squad will now enter a period of rest. Their official return to competitive play is scheduled for December 1.
They will host Feirense in what will be the 12th matchday of the Liga Portugal season.
