Reigning Portuguese champions Sporting Club are contending with key player absences due to injury as they prepare for their next league match.
Coach Rui Borges has confirmed that three players will be unavailable for Sunday’s fixture against Tondela. Defenders Sebastian Coates and St. Juste are among those sidelined.
Belgium international Zeno Debast is recovering from a muscle injury in his left thigh, sustained during a recent match against Marseille.
Winger Nuno Santos and midfielder Daniel Bragança continue their rehabilitation from operations performed last season. All three players are currently under the care of the club’s medical department.
