The match was part of the European Championship in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Catalonia.
Portugal still has a shot at topping Group A, which would send them straight to the semifinals.
They’ll face tough competition from Italy, whom they tied 3-3 in their first game, and Spain, who plays Italy today.
The game against Switzerland started strong for Portugal, but the Swiss team kept it close at halftime, trailing 2-0.
After the break, Portugal took control, scoring six more goals.
