The roads are about to get a lot more watched.
In June, speed cameras will be set up all over the place to ensure everyone sticks to the speed limit. The PSP has shared a list of where these cameras will be.
Why the cameras are there
The PSP wants to make roads safer by making sure drivers don’t speed. They’re putting up mobile speed cameras in many spots.
Here’s where the cameras will be
- Aveiro:
- June 4, 8am-12pm: Avenida da Universidade
- June 4, 2pm-9pm: E.N. 223, Km 22.2, S.M. Feira
- June 5, 2pm-6pm: Avenida da Europa, near BP
- June 6, 9:30am-12:30pm: Av. Liberdade, SJ Madeira
- June 11, 9:30am-12:30pm: Avenida 32, Espinho
- June 11, 8am-12pm: Avenida da Europa, near Corvauto
- June 18, 2pm-6pm: Avenida da Europa, near Corvauto
- June 26, 9:30am-12:30pm: Avenida Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro, Ovar
- Beja:
- June 2, 9am-12pm: Rua Manuel Joaquim Delgado
- June 4, 9am-12pm: Rua Manuel Joaquim Delgado
- June 9, 2pm-5pm: Av. Salgueiro Maia
- June 27, 9am-12pm: Rua Francisco Miguel Duarte
