Portugal Police Reveal November Speed Camera Locations Nationwide

Portugal’s Public Security Police (PSP) is publicly disclosing all nationwide speed camera locations for November 2025, emphasizing driver education over punitive measures.

The initiative, part of the “Quem o avisa…” (“He who warns…”) campaign, aims to prevent excessive speeding and reduce road accidents across the country. The PSP stated that its primary goal is to promote road safety by alerting drivers and fostering responsible behavior behind the wheel.

Speed cameras will be deployed across all district capitals and various other localities. Enforcement areas include urban zones, national roads, and high-traffic expressways.

Specific enforcement details released by the PSP are as follows:

In Beja, enforcement will take place on November 26 along Rua Manuel Joaquim Delgado from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time.

For Bragança, controls are scheduled for the Cintura Interna, Quinta do Campelo, on November 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time. On November 27, the EN 213 in Mirandela will be monitored from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

In Castelo Branco, officers will be on Alameda Pêro da Covilhã, near Hotel D. Maria in Covilhã, on November 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Coimbra will see controls on Av. da Lousã on November 28 starting at 9:30 a.m. local time. On November 26, Av. Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro in Figueira da Foz will be monitored from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Faro’s enforcement includes Estrada de Monchique in Monchique on November 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time. On the same day, Av. de Castro Marim in Vila Real de Santo António will be monitored from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Guarda will have controls on Via da Cintura Externa on November 22, 23, and 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time each day.

In Leiria, enforcement is set for the EN 356-1 Alcogulhe in Marinha Grande on November 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. On November 26, Estrada da Nazaré Km 15.2 in Marinha Grande will be monitored from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Lisboa’s schedule includes the A2 (Ponte 25 de Abril) in Almada on November 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. local time. On November 25, the EN 250.1 in Algueirão-Sintra will be monitored from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by Av. Eng. Duarte Pacheco in Queluz from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On November 26, Av. da Índia in Lisboa will have controls from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In Madeira, the VR-1 Km 9.4 in Câmara de Lobos will be monitored on November 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.

Portalegre will see enforcement on the EN 373 in Elvas on November 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. local time.

Porto’s locations include Av. Calouste Gulbenkian in Matosinhos on November 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time. On November 26, Rua Dr. Joaquim Nogueira dos Santos 885 in Maia will be monitored from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On November 27, Av. Marechal Gomes da Costa 1300 in Porto will have controls from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

For Santarém, enforcement is scheduled for Rua Dr. Armando Reis Vieira in Ourém on November 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time.

In Setúbal, Av. MAR in Corroios will be monitored on November 26 starting at 9:30 a.m. local time.

Viana do Castelo’s schedule includes the city center of Ponte de Lima on November 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time. Av. do Meio in Viana do Castelo will be monitored on November 25 from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and Av. Paulo VI in Viana do Castelo on November 29 from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
