“The market demands so many resources that our goal in Promipyme, this 2022, is to place one billion monthly, that is, RD$12,000 million more to the sector, to benefit 150,000 small entrepreneurs.

Peralta reported that by presidential mandate, last year, the entity placed loans for an amount of RD$2.5 billion, at 6%, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”

In that sense, he said that for loan purposes Promipyme receives RD$500 million annually from the National Budget, “but today, we manage a loan portfolio of RD$8,000 million.”

“In our management, since we arrived at Promipyme we have placed a loan portfolio of RD$11,000 million pesos”, he reiterated.

I emphasize that the budget of the institution presents a growth of 98% for the following years until 2024, due to the optimization of the recoveries, of the loans and the recovery of pending payments from previous years, which has allowed expanding coverage of services and consider projects for institutional strengthening.
