On the other hand, the Italian media has claimed that Pope Francis has been transferred to the hospital by ambulance due to breathing and heart problems.
According to media reports, Pope Francis is likely to stay overnight in the hospital due to which all his meetings and services have been suspended.
Pope Francis, who hails from Argentina, has also suffered from chronic knee pain, which has seen him confined to a wheelchair in recent months.
Last year, Pope Francis had to cancel or cut back several times due to knee pain.
