Police take orientation day to schools and clubs

With the aim of expanding the implementation of proximity to youth, the National Police carried out a one-week orientation session for children and adolescents in schools, leagues and sports clubs in San Francisco de Macorís in sectors intervened by the Comprehensive Plan for Citizen Security of the Ministry of the Interior and Police.

Technicians and professionals in Anti-gang, Children and Adolescents, Protection of Women and Domestic Violence of the institution of order, brought prevention and guidance to students and athletes so that they do not fall into conflict with the law, actions that obey a guideline of the Major General Eduardo Alberto Then, Director General of the Institution of Order.

“We take advantage of sports practice so that they better assimilate the message,” said Colonel Jacobo Mateo Moquete, Sports Commander of the institution of order who was recently in the Vista al Valle sector, together with Colonel Pablo Castro, of Anti-gangs, coordinating the sessions. preventive.

He pointed out that for a week, together with the Sports Union of the Duarte Province, about ten orientation days were held in the Vista al Valle, Pueblo Nuevo, San Martín, El Capacito, Las Flores sectors, among others.

He thanked the Sports Union there, directed by Professor William Hernández, who coordinated all the activities together with the Northeast Regional Directorate.

Mateo Moquete specified that the same day will be held in Cienfuegos, Santiago de los Caballeros, where the institution’s technicians are coordinating in this regard.
