Xiaomi has already accustomed us to launching smartphones that are practically the same, with different names depending on the region. But more recently, the manufacturer even chooses to launch equipment where the difference is little more than the name in the same region.
In this sense, the brand recently launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the POCO X4 Pro 5G in Portugal. But considering that they are practically the same smartphone, what is the right choice?

The differences between Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and POCO X4 Pro 5G
The first noticeable difference is obvious to everyone. Smartphones have different design languages, which comply with the ideology of Redmi and POCO. Redmi is more sober and has the camera module aligned in the upper left corner. POCO extends this module to the entire rear upper surface.
Another detail in which they differ is in the customization they make of Android. Both already have MIUI 13 installed, but the POCO X4 Pro 5G comes as ‘MIUI for POCO’, slightly different.

Something remarkable is that the MIUI 13 installed in the POCO X4 Pro 5G is already based on the latest Android 12. The one that comes in the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is still based on Android 11. Which means that users will have to wait. an update on the latter to keep you informed.
The price is the great advantage of POCO X4 Pro 5G
Taking into account that these differences are marginal, the bet on the POCO X4 Pro 5G seems to be the right choice. Because? Although with the same characteristics, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G arrives in Portugal on March 29 with a recommended retail price of €399.99.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G presented at the MWC arrived in Portugal with a recommended retail price of €299.99. In addition, those who bought it in the ‘Early Bird’ stage will be able to purchase it for only €269.99.
Given this price difference, it seems difficult to justify the purchase of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G against the POCO X4 Pro 5G.
