The eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi League got off to a great start on Wednesday. U Mumba beat the Bengaluru Bulls 46-30 on Wednesday, thanks to a brilliant performance from Abhishek Singh in the opening match. U Mumba’s forward Abhishek scored a total of 19 points in the match. Additionally, Abhishek performed well in the defense of the second season champion team. For the Bengaluru Bulls, Chandran Ranjit scored 13 and Pawan Sehrawat scored 12 points.
In the second match of the day, Telugu Titans made a spectacular comeback to keep the match against Tamil Thalaivas in a draw. The exciting match between the two teams ended in a 40-40 draw. Telugu Titans scored 22 raid points in the match. While Tamil Thalaivas got 20 raid points. Although Tamil Thalaivas scored 14 tackle points, Telugu had 13 tackle points. For Tamil Thalaivas, Manjeet got the 12 highest marks. While Siddharth Desai got the 11 highest points for Telugu.
In the third and final match of the day, the Bengal Warriors began their campaign by defeating UP Yoddha’s team 38-33.
Mohammad Nabibaksh scored the 11 highest points for Bengal. Nabibaksh played an important role in his team’s victory. UP Yoddha had high hopes for their star player Pardeep Narwal, but disappointed. Pardeep Narwal could only get 8 points in 16 raids.
