We know more about the second generation of Pixel Stand. On the Telegram Google News group, screenshots of the dedicated application appeared, revealing 3 different charging modes: Optimized, Max and Silent.
A few days before the official announcement of the Pixel 6, we already know almost everything about Google’s next flagship. Technical sheet, design, price : the main information has already reached us through various leaks and very few details remain to be discovered. In particular concerning the second generation of Pixel Stand, which will accompany the launch.
And precisely, this is the subject of today’s leak. On the Telegram News group appeared screenshots of the latest version of the application dedicated to the charging station. On these, we discover three new charging modes: Optimized, Max and Quiet. Each has its own specificities that adapt to the needs of the user.

The Pixel Stand is unveiled a few days before the release
Here is the presentation made by Google of the three charging modes:
- ” Optimized: Optimizes charging according to your use. Recommended for most situations.
- Max : Recharge as quickly as possible. The fan can be louder at times.
- Quiet : Reduces noise by limiting the fan speed. The smartphone can charge more slowly. “
In Max mode, the Pixel Stand will charge the smartphone at a speed of 23 W. But, as explained, this option will be the loudest. If you are used to charging your phone overnight, then Quiet mode is probably the most suitable. Note that a feature of Android 12 already plans to extend the charging time of the Pixels overnight to limit battery wear.
Previous leaks have revealed that these options will be displayed on the screen while charging. It will therefore be possible tochange the mode at any time, if for example you suddenly need to quickly regain the battery. The Pixel 6, meanwhile, will be presented on October 19 at 19. It will likely be sold for € 649.
