Pilot Jimmy Llibre wins two races in Miami

Jimmy Llibre won two Porsche Spring Challenge North America races over the weekend in Miami in support of Formula 1.

With the same tenacity and firmness with which he dominated the free practices and the classification of the 911 GT3 Cup (991) category, the Dominican Jimmy Llibre, from the MDK Motorsports team, won the victory imposing his talent and ability on one of the most anticipated automotive events throughout the year worldwide.

Llibre’s first victory in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, made the Dominican rise to the top of the podium and the Dominican flag flies high and the notes of the National Anthem will be heard.

“I am really happy for this victory and very grateful to God, my team, the sponsors and all the Dominicans who have supported me and follow my career,” said Llibre.

“The team did a great job getting the car ready and I was able to get the best out of the 911 GT3 Cup,” he enthused.

The pilot faced the challenge aboard a Porsche 911 generation 991.2 on a track with 19 curves, five kilometers and 412 meters.

During the first race, Llibre rode at an average of 133.462 kilometers per hour and needed 41:17.435 minutes to complete 17 laps of the five-kilometer, 412-meter (3,363-mile) circuit located on the grounds of Hard Rock Stadium. Sixth was his fastest lap, which he clocked in 2:02.966 minutes.

Jimmy Llibre lapped the Hard Rock Stadium track in 2:01.811. In the category of the 911 (991) she was followed by the American Laura Elly, who needed 2:03.092 minutes to make a complete turn around the circuit.
