Phillies overturn 5-run deficit, beat Dbacks in 10 innings

Trea Turner tied the game with a two-run homer in the ninth inning and Alec Bohm’s game-winning single in the 10th inning helped the Philadelphia Phillies overturn a five-run deficit to win 6-on Wednesday. 5 to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Turner had his best moment since starting last winter for the Phillies, hitting a home run off reliever Jose Ruiz (1-1) with two outs to tie the score at 5-5.

Bryson Stott singled in two starts off Ruiz in the ninth, setting the stage for Turner to hit his biggest drive of his first season with the Phillies.

Craig Kimbrel (3-1) pitched the tenth for the win.

Evan Longoria hit a two-run homer and Emmanuel Rivera drove in three runs for the Diamondbacks.

For the Dbacks, Rivera 4-1, three RBIs. The Dominican Ketel Marte 5-2, a score. Venezuelan José Herrera 4-1, one score.
