Upon swearing in the new board of directors, the president of the National Association of Pharmacy Owners, Tony Rodríguez highlighted the importance of copying models of pharmacy cooperatives that have been implemented in other countries, with the aim of guaranteeing efficiency, profitability and sustainability.
He anticipated that he orwill organize a tour to Colombia to see and study the Copydrogas cooperative modelwho has more than 3,000 individual-owned pharmacies capable of competing with the large chains in that country, who have pooled capital.
