Tournament Format
The PGL Astana 2025 will follow a Swiss format for its initial stage. Teams will compete in best-of-three matches, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs. To move forward, teams need to secure three wins. Conversely, three losses will result in elimination. The remaining eight teams will then enter a single-elimination bracket, where one loss means the end of their journey.
The knockout stage will feature best-of-three matches, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five showdown on May 18.
