New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise in India, with petrol crossing the Rs 100 mark in most cities.
Petrol and diesel prices in India rose by 35-35 paise per liter for the third day in a row on Saturday as crude oil prices continued to rise in the international market.
In the capital, New Delhi, petrol has gone up by Rs 355 per liter to Rs 105.49 per liter and diesel by Rs 94.22 per liter today.
After that the prices remained stable for two days but since then the period of price rise has started. After the hike, petrol in Mumbai has gone up to Rs 111.43 and diesel to Rs 102.15 per liter. In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, petrol has been priced at Rs 114.09 per liter and diesel at Rs 103.40 per liter.
In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, petrol and diesel prices are on the rise. In Ranchi, petrol has reached Rs 99.92 per liter and diesel Rs 99.44 per liter. However, petrol in Ranchi is still the cheapest in the country.
The price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in most of the major cities of the country and diesel in most of the major cities of the country is now heading towards a century. In some cities, the price of diesel has crossed Rs 100.

According to oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol in Delhi reached Rs 105.49 per liter and diesel Rs 94.22 per liter. Petrol and diesel prices are monitored daily and on this basis new prices are applied every day from 6 am.
