Dozens of Mexicans headed this Saturday the first “Naked Day” in Mexico City to normalize the body in its natural state.
at least some 200 people They met at the La Cibeles roundabout and walked with only their shoes on to the Ángel de la Independencia, on Paseo de la Reforma avenue.
The movement began at 11:00 a.m., the time of Mexico Cityand finished two hours later.
The attendees also took the opportunity to carry out the first photograph of this movement with one of the most emblematic monuments of Mexico City at noon.
“We have a lot of the community naked, ready. To those who want participate still they can catch up with us and don’t forget that we are going to take a historic photo at the Angel of Independence,” said Héctor Martínez, a member of Naked Day, before beginning his journey.
According to the organizers, this first march in the mexican capital seeks to “generate visibility to nudism as a practice, philosophy and social movement”
In addition to “generating a reflection dialogue about the relationship we have with our body and the benefits of normalizing nudity.
“The intention is to inspire other nudist groups, cities and countries to do the same,” says Naked Day on his official Twitter account.
The first march of this movement took place in July 2022, in Guadalajara, capital of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
Since then they have sought to add a new city every year, as well as more nudist groups until they internationalize their movement.
The movement was joined by other organizations such as Nudist Pride, Nudist Colors, Nudist Culture, Polinudism, We are Nudists, Nudistasmx, Mexinud, among others.
The contingent, which at all times behaved like a peaceful hose, was accompanied at all times by the capital’s police authorities.
