The National Treasury (TN) reported this Monday that the Government began the payment of the Easter royalty to public sector pensioners, members of the Armed Forces, National Police and collaborators of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD).
The TN reported that the first to collect were the retirees, then followed by the military, the State University and the police force, and for tomorrow Tuesday it will continue with other public institutions.
Luis Rafael Delgado Sánchez, National Treasurer, reiterated that the entities upload their payrolls early in the electronic payment system to expedite the delivery of salary 13 to State employees.
The official specified that the payment started this morning will cover RD$16,500.5 million to the servers of the Central Government, RD$5,596.9 million to decentralized or autonomous institutions, and $1.6 millionequivalent to RD$88.4 million for the payment of royalties to public employees who provide services abroad.
Also RD$1,755.9 million from current transfers to the payment of Easter royalty to the governments and other institutions, as well as RD$1,392 millionto the entities that belong to the constitutional powers, for a total of RD$25,333.5 million for payment of salary number 13.
The indicated amounts do not include the municipalities because they have their own budgets, concluded Delgado Sánchez.
