Pitcher Richelson Peña will be the starter for tomorrow’s game, when the Gigantes del Cibao visit the Quisqueya stadium to face the Leones del Escogido in a match scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m.
Richelson has started six times this season, going 1-1 with a 3.41 ERA.
In 29.0 innings of work, he has allowed 21 hits, including 11 runs and seven walks, and has struck out 10 batters, leaving his WHIP at 0.97.
It will be the third time that Peña has faced the Leones del Escogido this season, the last being on October 27. In his two outings against the Scarlets he has pitched 11.0 innings, allowing two runs, with one walk and five strikeouts.
Fernández will face the Águilas Cibaeñas on Friday in San Francisco, in what will be the third time he has started a game against his former team.
In his first two outings against the Eagles, he has pitched 10.1 scoreless innings, allowing four hits, two walks and 13 strikeouts.
