PCB can take action against this player

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has been battling with lower back problems for the past few days. Due to injury, he was unable to play a single match in the Test series against Australia. Now the Pakistan Cricket Board may take action against leg-spinner Abrar for failing to follow the medical team's instructions during the Test series against Australia. After consultation with the Pakistan team doctor, physiotherapist and coach, the PCB medical panel has submitted its report to the board chairman.

Debut in 2022

The report said Abrar Ahmed had been negligent in his treatment since the World Cup in India last year. According to PCB sources, the board is considering taking action against Abrar. Sources said Abrar has been sent to the country's National Cricket Academy where his treatment process will be monitored on a daily basis. Abrar made his debut for Pakistan in 2022. So far, he has taken 38 wickets in 6 Test matches for Pakistan, including 5 wicket hauls twice.
