Paxton Whitehead, English actor known for his participation in the series “Mad About You”, “Friends” and “Fraiser”, died in a hospital in Virginia, United States. He was 85 years old.
The death of the theater pillar, who appeared 17 times over 50 years on Broadway, occurred on June 16, 2023, but it was not until Tuesday that his sons Alex and Charles Whitehead reported it.
Alex told The New York Times that her cause of death was complications from a fall.
In 1980, Paxton was nominated for a Tony Award for his portrayal of Pellinore in the revival of Camelot. His last appearance on stage was in 2014.
