Pawan Kalyan, the superstar of Andhra Pradesh, has made it clear that he plans to continue his acting and political careers simultaneously. In a recent interview, he stated that as long as he needs the money, he will keep making films. This statement has sparked interest among fans and critics alike, especially since fellow actor Thalapathy Vijay has announced his retirement from films after entering politics.
Kalyan’s party, Janasena, has formed an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh, and they have won all seats in the election. When asked about his decision to pursue both careers, Kalyan explained that he has always wanted to work for the common people, but he also needs to earn a living. He mentioned that his only source of income is from cinema, and he has never collected wealth or started any businesses, including film production.
The actor’s upcoming film, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” is highly anticipated, and he has committed to fulfilling his obligations to the project. When questioned about being a “part-time actor” or “part-time politician,” Kalyan responded that many politicians have their own businesses and manage to do well in both fields, so he sees no reason why he can’t do the same.
Kalyan emphasized the importance of being passionate about both acting and politics, stating that one needs to be a passionate actor and a passionate political leader to succeed in both careers. He also mentioned that while acting, he was learning about administration and reading about public policies in the 1990s. As long as he needs the money, he plans to continue acting without compromising his administrative and political job.
The actor was last seen on the big screen in the 2023 release “BRO,” alongside his nephew Sai Durga Tej. He then became busy with election campaigning. Up next, he will be seen in Krish and A.M. Jyothi Krishna’s “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” as well as Sujith’s “The Call Him OG” and Harish Shankar’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” which are currently in production.
