Paulina Goto Conquers Heights, Reinvention in ‘Entra en mi vida’ on Hulu

Paulina Goto is riding a special wave in her career right now. The talented Mexican actress and singer stars in Enter My Life, a new romantic comedy streaming on Hulu. She revealed that this film didn’t just challenge her acting skills; it also pushed her to face one of her biggest fears: heights.

"One of my greatest fears was heights," Goto shared in an exclusive chat with Us Weekly en Español. "I always said I would never skydive, or bungee jump, or do anything that meant looking down and feeling that emptiness." But during filming, she had to shoot a skydiving scene. This made her rethink everything. "The director and production told me not to worry, that a stunt double could do it," she confessed. "But I was already so deep into Eugenia, my character, that I said, ‘Let’s conquer these fears.’ I was super nervous, but once I was up there, I didn’t want to come down. It was incredible."

That daring experience changed everything for the 34-year-old actress. She learned a valuable lesson. "When you face your fears, you realize sometimes they aren’t as big as they seem," she added with a smile. "You see this giant monster, and then you say, ‘It wasn’t so bad after all.’"

In the movie, Paulina plays Eugenia. Her life seems to be falling apart. Her boyfriend dumps her, she loses her job, her roommate moves out, and even her dog runs away. But instead of giving up, Eugenia decides to rebuild her life. She shares her journey on social media, hoping to become an influencer.

The actress explained that Eugenia’s character, despite appearing superficial, holds deep insecurities. "The challenge was showing that behind Eugenia’s perfect life and superficial shell, she has very profound insecurities," Paulina said. "I wanted to give her that realness and vulnerability that makes her human."

Paulina called the filming a "magical" experience. She loved the atmosphere on set and felt a strong connection with her co-stars. "I really enjoyed working with Ximena Sariñana, Hugo Catalán, and Lalo Elizarrarás," she recalled. "We formed a wonderful team and laughed a lot every day. That was amazing." She also highlighted the trust she received from her director, Ernesto Contreras Cravioto. "He’s one of those directors who makes you feel you can trust his vision," she noted. "I felt very supported by him."

Even though Enter My Life was filmed two years ago, Paulina says it was also a time of personal change for her. After shooting the movie, she took a break from acting to focus on her music. She dedicated herself to creating Natural, her latest album. "It was a project that needed a lot of space, and I was scared to stop acting for a while," she admitted. "But it was something I really needed to do."

This personal journey also changed how she uses social media. "Early in my career, I felt overwhelmed by the pressure to please everyone," she explained. "Today, I have a much healthier relationship with the digital world. I use it to share my work and connect with my audience in a more authentic way."

What’s Next for Paulina

After focusing on music, Goto confirmed she is returning to acting this year. She already has new projects lined up. While she can’t share details yet, she hinted that 2025 has been a very busy and thankful year. "It makes me so happy that my work can travel and connect with different audiences," she said. "That’s a gift."

With a clear message of strength, Paulina believes in new beginnings, just like her character Eugenia. "When something ends, it’s because something better is coming," she affirmed. "Endings also bring chances for us to reinvent ourselves and try new things."

The movie Enter My Life has been available on Hulu since October 3rd.
