Midfielder Paul Pogba will be out of soccer matches for a long time due to an injury he sustained while playing international matches for France this week. He is also not expected to be a part of many of Manchester United’s upcoming games.

The English club said on Wednesday that it will not be able to take the field for the club in the last two matches of the Champions League group stage, as well as in the Premier League clashes with Chelsea and Arsenal. Pogba will also miss France’s World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Finland next week.

Pogba suffered the injury to his right leg on Monday while shooting on goal during training. Manchester United said Pogba is being treated in Manchester.

Kohli thanked the support staff who left the team.

Pogba wrote on his official Instagram: “As you can see, I got hurt a bit, I hope it doesn’t get too bad. I’ll probably do another scan and see how bad it is.”
