Patronato beat Aldosivi in a key duel for relegation

Patronato beat Aldosivi 1-0 in an acceptable match played in Paraná, and added three key points in their fight not to be relegated, within the framework of the third round of the Professional League.

Facundo Cobos, 23 minutes into the first half, scored the only goal of the match with which the locals claimed victory. Santiago Laquidain was expelled in Aldosivi, 43 minutes into the complement, for rough play.

Patronato has its mini tournament within the Professional League. In it he will have to face each match as a final, to stay in the first division of local football and now a true final against Aldosivi, in which he came out determined to win.

With a slight dominance, but without the conviction to make it count on offense, the path to victory was opened by one of his defenders: Cobos arrived as support for an attack that was diluted, but when they gave him the back pass, he invented a great left-footed goal, in which he tried in the first instance to launch a center that ended up slipping over the goalkeeper José Devecchi, who had his share of complicity.

In the complement, the image of Aldosivi was different: the Mar del Plata squad showed a share of rebellion with Matías Pisano as the protagonist, who found Santiago Silva on several occasions, and became a constant threat to the bottom of the premises that he took care of his valuable triumph.

For its part, Patronato forced itself back into its field, and although it suffered in some parts of the match, it managed to survive in the face of adversity and was close to stretching figures in an isolated play that Jonathan Herrera stole the ball from under pressure. Devecchi, who corrected his mistake instantly.
