A passenger plane crashed in Nepal, killing 67 people.

According to the International News Agency, the plane of Nepal’s private airline company Yeti Air (Yeti Airlines) has crashed between the new and old airports of the city of Pokhara in the center of the country.

Airline spokesperson Sudarshan Birtwala confirmed the incident and said that 68 passengers and 4 crew members were on board at the time of the accident.

Senior local administration official Gurdut Dhakkal has said that the wreckage was on fire at the time of the accident.

Officials have confirmed that 45 bodies have been recovered from the crash site while the search for the others continues.

It should be noted that the European Union has banned all Nepalese aircraft from entering its airspace due to security concerns.
