Club Parque Hostos achieved its eleventh crown by beating Club Enriquillo 87-80 and sweeping the final series 4-0 in the XXVIII La Vega Superior Basketball Tournament that had a special dedication to the general director of Customs, Edwardo Sanz Lovatón for Malta India Cup.
The winners had a comfortable advantage (65-52) displaying an intense defense with which they ultimately achieved their eleventh crown.
Those managed by Miguel Adames and led by Richard Ortega dominated the entire course of the match with partial scores of 26-20, 20-19, 19-20, 22-21.
Native Adonis Núñez had a great night with 27 points, Juan Miguel Suero added 23 and Enmanuel Cruz 18 points.
For the losers, Ramón Galloway finished with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Jared Shaw 15 points and 8 rebounds, Antonio Peña 12 points and Milton Rosario 10 points.
