The Juventus slump continues with a 1-0 loss to Parma, leaving their relegation woes unresolved.
The Parma team, managed by Cristian Chivu, faced a tough start, losing Alessandro Vogliacco and Adrian Bernabé to muscle injuries within the first 10 minutes.
Despite this setback, Parma took the lead just before halftime, with a Pellegrino goal that proved enough to secure the win.
Igor Tudor made two substitutions in an attempt to turn the game around, bringing on Francisco Conceição at halftime and Alberto Costa in the 86th minute, but the result remained unchanged.
Lazio Gains Ground
The Lazio team benefited from Juventus’ loss, beating Genoa 2-0 at home to tie with them for fifth place, the final Europa League spot.
Genoa was reduced to 10 men just 22 minutes in, after Otoa’s red card.
Castellanos scored the opening goal 10 minutes later, and Boulaye Dia doubled the lead in the 65th minute.
