Paralympic Games: France finishes in 14th place after a good harvest of medals

The French delegation finished 14th in the Paralympic Games, with a total of 54 medals. The last two were won this Sunday in badminton.

It is an almost historic harvest. Since 2004, in Athens (74 medals), the Blues had not won so many charms. In 2016, in Rio de Janeiro, they had also won only 28. That is to say the performance achieved in Japan.

In total, the French Paralympics have won 11 titles (Charles-Antoine Kouakou, Lucas Mazur, Alexandre Léauté, Dorian Foulon, Alexandre Lloveras, Florian Jouanny, Kévin Le Cunff, Stéphane Houdet, Nicolas Peifer, Fabien Lamiraut (x2), Stéphae Molliens and Alexis Hanquinquant), 15 silver and 28 bronze medals.

France therefore ranks 14e in the ranking of medals. China finished first (207 medals) ahead of Great Britain (124 medals) and the United States (104 medals).
