Fans of the smash-hit game Palworld will need to wait a little longer for its full release. Pocketpair, the studio behind the monster-catching adventure, has confirmed that Palworld version 1.0 won’t officially launch until 2026. This news comes after the game’s massive success in Early Access since last year.

Bucky, Pocketpair’s Distribution Manager and Head of Communications, shared the company’s update strategy. He explained that the development team has many fresh ideas for the game. However, they also know there’s a lot to polish before Palworld can leave Early Access for good. Their main goal is to fix any lingering issues properly.
This focus means that other game updates might be a bit quieter for a while. Throughout the rest of 2025, players should expect smaller, seasonal updates. These won’t be as big as the major content drop seen in February. Even so, Bucky teased that players can still look forward to some unexpected surprises this year.
“Instead of rushing things, we believe laying a strong foundation will make the game better in the end,” Bucky stated. He added that the team is incredibly excited for the future of Palworld. He hopes fans share that excitement. More details about Palworld 1.0 are expected to be shared with everyone soon.
