The city of Palma wants to host the Futsal UEFA Champions League Final Four after Palma Futsal, the city’s team, achieved its historic classification for this Final Four in which the biggest continental title at club level will be decided.
In this way it is confirmed the interest of the Mallorcan team in hosting the decisive phase of the tournament, an interest that arose as soon as they got a pass to the semifinals of the Champions League in Son Moix.
From Palma Futsal they assure that, in the event that this Final Four cannot be played in Son Moix, the pavilion where they play their matches at home, they propose the Velòdrom Illes Ballears as the venue for this Final Four, one of the largest venues in the city, in the event that Son Moix does not meet the conditions required by UEFA.
For this reason the team has processed the two options before UEFA before the deadline for submissions. Now UEFA will have to decide next May which venue will host a Final Four in which Palma Futsal wants to continue making history in Europe.
