Pakistan Champions have secured a spot in the final of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 after defeating West Indies Champions by 20 runs in the first semi-final.
West Indies Champions’ Batsmen Fumble
West Indies Champions’ batsmen failed to live up to expectations, with Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith giving a good start but failing to convert it into big innings. Smith contributed 26 runs, while Gayle scored 22 runs. The rest of the batsmen struggled against the Pakistan Champions’ bowlers, with Ashley Nurse scoring 36 runs being the highest scorer.
Sohail Khan Takes Four Wickets
Sohail Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan Champions, taking four wickets while giving away just 21 runs in 3.5 overs. He was economical and bowled the last over, along with Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik, who took two wickets each.
