Pakistan Sets New Zealand 129-Run Target Behind Salman Agha’s Fifty

The Pakistan-New Zealand T20 series is wrapping up. Pakistan set a target of 129 runs for New Zealand in the final match. Captain Salman Aga led the charge with a half-century. Openers Hasan Nawaz and Mohammad Haris struggled, with Nawaz getting out for zero.

Pakistan’s batting woes

Pakistan’s top order collapsed. Nawaz was dismissed by Jacob Duffy without scoring. Haris made 11 runs before getting out. Qasim Akram managed 7 runs off 11 balls. Usman Khan scored 7 runs. Shadab Khan was the bright spot, hitting 28 runs off 20 balls with 5 fours.

Aga scored 51 runs off 39 balls, including 6 fours and a six. Haris Rauf remained unbeaten on 6 runs.

Series so far

The series is part of a 5-match T20 contest between New Zealand and Pakistan. New Zealand has taken a 3-1 lead. They won the first match by 9 wickets and the second by 5 wickets. Pakistan bounced back with a 9-wicket win in the third match, but New Zealand dominated the fourth match, winning by 115 runs.
