For the Super 4 round match against India, Pakistan has decided to field four fast bowlers. Babar Azam did not include spin all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz in the playing XI. Fast bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf has a chance in his place.

Babar Azam (captain), Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Faheem Ashraf, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam has expressed his confidence in bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf for the match against India. Apart from fast bowling, Faheem can also bat well in the lower order. He bowled brilliantly against Bangladesh.
