PAK vs ENG 4th T20I: the England team stood on the threshold of victory, Haris Rauf converted the match like this

Pakistan recorded a thrilling victory against England in the T20 match held in Karachi on Sunday night. Playing first, Pakistan scored 166 runs, in response the England team was just 3 runs off scoring level. Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf was named “Man of the Match”. It was he who gave Pakistan victory in the losing battle.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 166/4 in allotted overs thanks to tackles from Mohammad Rizwan (88), Babar Azam (36) and Shan Masood (21). Pakistani batsmen lost fewer wickets, but the team’s running pace was slow. Rizwan and Babar batted very slowly. For England, Reece Topley took two and Liam Dawson and David Willey took 1-1 wickets.

Chasing the target of 167 runs, England got off to a poor start and by the time 14 runs came, all three of the team’s top-order batsmen returned to the pavilion. Small but important innings from the middle order and trailing batsmen brought England to the brink of victory. In the last 12 balls, England needed only 9 runs to win and had 3 wickets in hand. England’s victory was clearly visible, but on the 19th, Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf turned the tide.

Haris Rauf took two consecutive wickets on the third and fourth balls of his over to get Pakistan back into the match. He gave up just 5 runs in the 19th and took 2 wickets. Thus, England needed 4 runs on 6 balls in the last over, where Mohammad Wasim took the first point and in the second Reece Topley was eliminated for stealing a single run.
