paiN Gaming LoL: Roamer Leaves; Tinowns Return Rumors Intensify

The departure of a League of Legends pro player from paiN Gaming has intensified speculation about the potential return of a veteran esports figure to the prominent Brazilian organization.

Thiago “tinowns” Sartori, a popular mid-laner, recently announced his comeback to competitive play after a period of absence. He declared his return on October 31.

“I’m not coming back to live in the past,” Sartori stated. “I’m coming back to show that I still have what it takes to be among the best. Thank you all for your constant support, I love you. See you in CBLOL 2026.”

This speculation follows paiN Gaming’s confirmation on Monday, November 17, of the exit of Cho “Roamer” Woo-jin. The 22-year-old Korean mid-laner had been with the team since March 2025.

paiN Gaming issued a statement expressing their gratitude for Woo-jin’s contributions. “It was a pleasure to follow your evolution, your dedication, and how you faced each challenge,” the organization posted. “We thank you for your commitment and respect for our historical mid laner role. Thank you and good luck, Roamer.”

Before joining paiN Gaming, Woo-jin played for T1 Academy, Brion Challengers, HLE Challengers, and TL Challengers. During his tenure with paiN Gaming, he was part of the roster that secured second place in LTA Sul 2025 – Split 2, losing to FURIA 3-0. He also helped the team achieve third place in LTA Sul 2025 – Split 3, with a 3-0 defeat against RED Canids. His teammates included Choi “Wizer” Ui-seok, Marcos “Cariok” Oliveira, Alexandre “TitaN” Lima, and Choi “Kuri” Won-yeong.
