Pablo Montero sings “Las mañanitas” to Maduro and receives criticism on the networks

A year after the controversy caused by Bonny Cepeda’s recital, Mexican singer Pablo Montero finds himself in the eye of the hurricane after traveling to Venezuela to sing mornings to the president, Nicolás Maduro in his 59 years.

Dressed in a black suit and a huge hat characteristic of the charrería, Pablo Montero intoned these melodies with his thick voice while greeting Maduro, his wife Cilia Flores and their youngest daughter.

On Twitter, Nicolás Maduro thanked Pablo Montero for his gesture, assuring that the doors of Venezuela will always be open. In addition, he assured that the singer brought to his country the "strength of Mexico".

After the photographs of Montero became viral in Venezuela, hundreds of users on social networks flooded him assuring that they will no longer listen to the songs of the Mexican.

El Heraldo indicates that Internet users pointed out that Pablo Montero’s career has "stained" too much after going to visit Nicolás Maduro, considered one of the most controversial presidents in the world.

In this sense, the fans of regional Mexican music detailed that the soap opera actor had also made a mistake with his attendance at that event, so he will surely offer an explanation in the coming days.
