Levante has loaned goalkeeper Pablo Cuñat to Cartagena for the upcoming season. The 20-year-old goalkeeper, who rose through the ranks at Levante, will look to gain more experience in the Second Division with his new club.
Early Career and Rise Through the Ranks
Born and formed in the Granota quarry, Cuñat began his youth career at Barcelona before returning to Levante in 2020. During his time at Levante, he won the league title with the Juvenil A team, marking a historic first for the club.
First Team Experience
In the 2021-22 season, Cuñat was promoted to the reserve team and began alternating between training with the first team and the reserve squad. He was called up to the first team on several occasions, gaining valuable experience.
Last Season’s Loan and Under-21 Selection
In the previous season, Cuñat was loaned to Second Division side Amorebieta, where he made 26 official appearances and was selected for the under-21 national team. The experience will serve him well as he heads to Cartagena on loan this season.
