“Holding these types of games in cities in the interior helps the clubs and also the boys to continue preparing. Probably the people who saw them tonight will be able to remember in a few years that this young professional played in their town. That’s why being painted on a mural in a place I used to go to as a boy, it seems incredible to me,” confessed Aimar, 43, during the usual press conference.
“I hope I have to continue being with the older and the younger ones, because we are happy in that place. It is an honor to be part of the National Team. We always defend that if during a competition there is a good group climate, good milk, it always adds up , but even so and all that does not guarantee the title; what that guarantees is the enjoyment of the process. Working with boys who want to be professional footballers, or of any discipline, supposes an enormous responsibility”, he closed.
