Synopsis: A man swears to avenge those responsible for his wife’s death, while protecting his daughter, the only family he has left.
Our opinion : Exploring very cliché and conventional themes, Brian Mendoza offers a fairly effective action thriller on its fighting sequences, very poor on the rest as far as the scenario is concerned. Despite a promising opening, the film undergoes a very long slack stomach before effectively bouncing off the end. While it is not necessarily effective over time, Sweet girlsets off again in a good way thanks to a twist well enough found to prevent the production from sinking into the totally anecdotal. Despite everything, the shots are not crazy serenity, and we feel the end arrive for miles. However, this results in a satisfactory interpretation of Jason Momoa and Isabela Moner, who hold the film on their shoulders, on the contrary antagonists who appear overpowered, but of whom, in the end, nothing is known. A film riddled with flaws but which turns out to be a satisfying B-action production overall.
