The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the men’s and women’s teams on July 14 for the cricket event at the 2023 Asian Games. The 15-member Indian men’s team will be captained by young player Ruturaj Gaikwad at the Games Asians. This BCCI decision surprised everyone, but thinking about the future, the decision is also being seen. Now Ruturaj has expressed his happiness for the first time after assuming the responsibility of the captaincy.

After going unselected in the T20 series against the West Indies, now Rinku Singh has been included in the announced Indian squad for the Asian Games.
