Thakur was accompanied by her father during her appearance on the set of the beloved TV serial. Gour, a prominent member of the show’s cast, captured the visit in a photograph he later shared online.
Gour’s Instagram post celebrated Thakur’s recent political success. He proudly announced her achievement as the youngest Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
“Finally, our dear daughter Maithili won,” Gour wrote in his heartfelt caption. He added, “She has become the youngest MLA.”
Gour also revealed that he had previously campaigned for Thakur in a video, an effort that drew some criticism. Despite this, he maintained an unwavering belief in her victory.
He further mentioned that the picture was taken on the set of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’. Thakur and her father had visited the set to watch the show, which Gour noted is a family favorite.
Maithili Thakur is recognized as a young and influential political figure. She is 25 years old.
Thakur was elected from Bihar’s Alinagar constituency. Her victory makes her the youngest MLA in the newly formed legislative assembly.
