OPPO to Launch K13 Mid-Range Smartphone with 7,000mAh Battery in April 2025

OPPO’s next mid-range smartphone, the K13, is coming soon. The brand has just revealed some of its key features. The K13 will have a massive 7,000 mAh battery, making it the largest in OPPO’s lineup. The battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after five years.

The phone will also support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. While that’s slower than the 100W charging on the 2024 K12 model, it’s worth noting that the K12 had a smaller 5,500 mAh battery. OPPO claims the K13’s battery will last around 10 hours of gaming, 15 hours of video streaming, or 11 hours of GPS navigation. It can charge to 62% in just 30 minutes.

Powerful Performance

The K13 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, which is the first in the series to be built on TSMC’s 4nm technology. The chip features ARMv9 architecture and can reach speeds of up to 2.3 GHz. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone’s display is a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 1080p+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It also features an under-display fingerprint sensor and Splash Touch technology, allowing for use even when the screen is wet.

Additional Features

Other notable features of the K13 include a 50MP rear camera, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster. The phone also has a graphite sheet and a heat dissipation channel to help keep it cool. It will be available in two colors: Icy Purple and Prism Black.
