Discreetly and without much fuss, OPPO introduced two new enhancements to its portfolio of mid-range smartphones. This is the OPPO Reno8 T and Reno8 T Pro, two devices created for those who do not want to spend a lot on a phone.
Both models are very similar to each other, both in their design and in their specifications. However, the model with 5G connectivity differs slightly from its brother, but not only because of its compatibility with the new mobile network standard.
OPPO Reno8 T arrives limited to 4G LTE connections
The OPPO Reno8 T is the basic model of the new mid-range offer from the Chinese company. This comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor that limits it to the 4G standard.
It arrives with a memory configuration that includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Its screen is a 6.43-inch AMOLED, Full-HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate.
We are facing a completely flat panel and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In the upper left corner there is a small hole that houses its 32 MP front camera.
At the rear there are two large circles that will house three sensors. The main one sports a 100 MP resolution, something unusual in this market. You are accompanied by a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor.
To power all this we have a 5000 mAh battery with charging supported by OPPO’s proprietary SuperVOOC technology. The brand did not clarify what speeds were used in the Reno8 T, which suggests that it will be 33 W.
The presentation of these models took place discreetly in Vietnam. In that country, the Reno8 T will be sold for the equivalent of €334.
OPPO Reno8 T 5G is more future-proof
As already mentioned, it is in the OPPO Reno8 T 5G that we find the most desirable package. Thanks to the inclusion of the Snapdragon 695 processor, this model receives the appreciated compatibility with 5G connections.
Its screen is slightly curved on the sides thanks to its 2.5D glass. It has AMOLED technology, a 6.7-inch diagonal, Full-HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
In this model we find the hole for the front camera right in the center of the screen. There is a 32 MP camera there, similar to its brother.
At the rear we have a 108 MP main sensor with autofocus and an aperture of f / 1.7. In your company we have the same 2 MP sensors for depth measurements and macro photography.
The OPPO Reno8 T 5G battery is only 4800 mAh but with faster charging speeds. Indeed, in this model we find the 67 W SuperVOOC technology with the corresponding wall adapter included in the box.
As for prices, the OPPO Reno8 T 5G will reach local stores for the equivalent of €393. We do not have any information on the global availability of these Android smartphones yet.
