OPPO Launches Reno14 Pro with 50MP Quad Cameras and 5-Hour Continuous Live Streaming

OPPO has just rolled out its latest mid-range smartphones, the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro, with a focus on durability and top-notch video recording capabilities. The Reno14 Pro is the star of the show, boasting a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chip paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Reno14 Pro: The Powerhouse

This device is equipped with a stunning 6.83-inch AMOLED display, offering a 1272p+ resolution, 10-bit color depth, and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, all protected by OPPO’s Crystal Shield Glass. Video enthusiasts will love the ability to record 4K footage at 60 fps. The Reno14 Pro’s camera setup is impressive, with four 50 MP lenses: a primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an ultrawide lens with a 116-degree angle and autofocus, a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a front camera with a 90-degree angle and f/2.0 aperture.

The Reno14 Pro is designed to last, with a massive 6,200 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. This means you can live stream for up to 5 hours or game for 8 hours straight. It also features a triple-microphone setup that can reduce background noise by up to 90% and can be paired with an external cooling device and a 20,000 mAh battery pack for extended use. The phone is also incredibly thin, measuring just 7.48 mm, and weighs 201 grams. It comes in three colors: Reef Black, Mermaid, and Purple, and boasts an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Reno14: A More Affordable Option

The Reno14, on the other hand, features a slightly less powerful Dimensity 8350 chip, still paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The display is slightly smaller at 6.59 inches, but still offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. The camera setup is similar to the Pro model, but with some minor differences: the primary sensor and periscope telephoto lens are 50 MP, while the ultrawide lens is 8 MP. The front camera is also 50 MP.
