OPPO’s Reno series is expanding with the launch of the Reno 13A, a budget-friendly smartphone that brings a mix of impressive features and solid performance. Reno 13A succeeds the Reno 11A, launched in 2024, and is actually a rebranding of the Reno 13F, available in some markets since January 2025.
Key Features
The device boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, offering a Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by AGC Dragontrail STAR2 glass, ensuring durability. A fingerprint sensor is conveniently integrated under the display.
On the camera front, the Reno 13A features a 32-megapixel front camera, while the rear setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 112-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. It’s paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable via virtual RAM to 16GB, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, further expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
The Reno 13A is equipped with a substantial 5,800mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The phone runs on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, and features 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB-C port.
Design and Durability
The device measures just 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams. It also boasts an IP68/69 rating, offering protection against dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and high-pressure water jets at temperatures up to 80°C.
The Reno 13A will be available in three colors: Charcoal Gray, Ice Blue, and Luminous Navy. It hits the shelves on June 26, 2025, priced at ¥48,000.
